A group of sibling children are forced to band together and seek out their grandmother, living as a hermit and seemingly shut off to the world around her. The children show their grandmother what it is to truly live and feel again in this heartwarming tale of family finding one another and coming together under the toughest of circumstances. Anne Bancroft plays Abigail Tillerman in this heartfelt family drama about two brothers and sisters that must set out to find their reclusive grandmother. Abigail must herself learn how to feel again and the children help show her the way. The movie touches your heart with very real and tough drama.

The movie is effortless at being real and true with brutal honesty and drama. An amazing achievement in Made for TV movies. The supporting cast of youngsters do a very solid job with their parts. Bancroft is amazing in this film and the young actors are solid as well. This is very well written and acted film and a great made for TV movie. The drama and powerful emotions captured in this tender film are simply astounding. This is a wonderful made for cable production that should definitely have a spot in your movie collection. Fantastic as a supplement to the book for classroom purposes.
