DVD Synopsis and information:
Mosquito
throws itself back as a 50s Sci Fi of modern times. The movie is cheesy
but that's exactly what you want when viewing this type of picture. The
effects are pretty fun and the premise of the movie is simple yet
effective. An alien lands that spawns a deadly mutation that happens to
create super mosquito horde. There is a small band of misfits that must
come together to defeat the bad bugs while trying to survive the bloody
onslaught. The flying insects have an insatiable need for human blood
that drives them to kill on sight. Mosquito DVD is load of fun and does not take itself seriously.
The movie has great effect work,
considering the budget constraints the filmmakers had to deal with.
Andre Blay's impressive producing credits have a plethora of horror and
Sci Fi greats in his arsenal i.e. The Blob, Prince of Darkness, and They
Live, and the special effects team of Batman Returns, Evil Dead III,
and Darkman comes nature's most horrifying thriller! This film is a must
own for B Sci Fi flicks! If you are a horror or Sci Fi Fan Mosquito DVD is a must own.
The characters and
script can be a
bit laughable at times but how serious can you take a movie about giant
killer alien mosquitoes?! Mosquito DVD 1995 is a fun B Sci Fi Flick that
will have you squirming one minute and laughing the next. Mosquito DVD
is a great B movie homage to the old 50s Sci Fi flicks from days past. Mosquito DVD has some cool effects and makes for a fun B or C Sci Fi flick.
