Located below, beneath those manhole covers, way down deep in the city sewer system a real maneater is waiting and it is an Alligator! Some 12 years ago two incidents took place that bore little similarity until now. The Kendal family decided that their pet, a baby alligator, was becoming a nuisance. So the Kendal's flushed him down the toilet. It just so happens that at the very same moment, a chemical company, Slade Laboratories, was conducting secret hormonal experiments with dogs and the dead dogs were secretly disposed of in the city sewer system.
As the baby alligator dined on the decaying canine corpses, the creature's body chemistry began to undertake grotesque mutations. When several brutal murders are then discovered, David Madison (Robert Forster) is put on the case. But as Madison begins to find out, these killings are not the work of a crazed human psychopath. They can only be caused from a mutated monster that started as a harmless pet and is not ravaging animal turned beast that is bent on destroying everything in its wake.
Alligator DVD 1980 is a terrific B monster movie from the 80s. Robert Forster is great as the cop in Alligator 1980 DVD.
