The Powerful drama made into an epic TV mini series, that was inspired by the true story about Angela Silvano (played by Valerie Bertinelli) taking on her brother in law Kenneth Taylor (Michael Ontkean) parents in an effort to gain sole custody of her niece as Angela's recently deceased sister's baby when she learns that her brother (Ontkean) in law murdered her sister.

In a Child's Name DVD is shares similarities of the TV domestic crime drama genre, Fatal Vision DVD also sold here. In a Child's Name 1991 DVD is the story of Ken Taylor who is a dentist on New York Staten Island where close to MacDonald in Fatal Vision, appeared to be a good and solid citizen and a super catch for his new wife.

Both Angela Silvano and Ken Taylor's parents want this child and, after the child is essentially kidnapped while in Indiana Teresa and her family initiate a fierce legal battle to get the child back. Battling it out in an Indiana town that views this as a struggle to keep a child in the Lord's Protestant country and out of the immoral Sodom and Gomorrah style Catholic New York churches. Eventually Peter Maas, who penned the book on which this story is founded actually becomes a character in the drama as it turns into a fight of public relations.

Though Kenneth Taylor's background was stuffed with all manor of imperfections than was Fatal Vision MacDonald's, Taylor is also a very smooth character who is easily able to convince many of his naive innocence while he paves the path for his evil deeds and plans.

Michael Ontkean and Valerie Bertinelli both give amazing performances in In A Childs Name DVD. In A Childs Name DVD has Valerie Bertinelli giving one of hre career best performances.Michael Ontkean is terrific in his role as the horrible brother in law In A Child's Name DVD. In A Child's Name DVD remains a difficult drama to watch but the story and performances are top notch.
