DVD Synopsis and information:
A
fascinating story that takes place in the middle of Times Square, a
indigent young girl becomes well known, a well off girl gets courageous
and one special friendship will not be tamed. The rich girl Pammy,
played by Trini Alvarado, is the protected daughter of a well known
politician. Wild girl Nicky, played by Robin Johnson, is a streetwise
runaway. Together, they are two girls that escape from a mental hospital
and with the help of a fascinating radio DJ Johnny LaGuardia, played by
Tim Curry. They teens form a band together and become a punk rock force
on the mean streets of New York. Then, just as their outrageous new
life takes off and things come together, they discover that people want
to break them up. Times Square is directed by Allan Moyle,
creator of Pump Up The Volume, and features a legendary music soundtrack
of hits from Patti Smith, The Cure, Lou Reed, The Ramones, The
Pretenders, Roxy Music, Gary Numan, Suzi Quatro, Talking Heads, Joe
Jackson, XTC and more.
A great 80s movie with a dynamite soundtrack! Times Square DVD is an excellent 80s films filled with great songs from that time! Times Square DVD is an excellent 80s punk and rock music story.
