DVD Synopsis and information:
Marie Hilley, played by Judith Light, began as the ideal wife and mother. After 20 years into her marriage Marie's husband Frank becomes quite ill and then he passes away soon after that. Within a few months of Frank's death, Marie's daughter Carol, is admitted to the hospital with symptoms that are strikingly similar to those of her late husband's. After extensive testing it is revealed that her daughter suffered from arsenic poisoning. Marie is also is arrested for writing bad checks during this time and then Frank's remains are exhumed and reveal high levels of arsenic.
Marie is then promptly charged with murder for her late husband's homicide. She manages to escape the authorities and remains on the lamb for the next three years. Marie is then convicted of Frank's murder in absentia and she remarries. when Marie attempts to fake her own death under her new identity things quickly spiral out of control for her and she is arrested again. Marie manages to escape once again but this time her luck finally runs out and she's captured within days.
