Martin
Short plays Clifford, who is a little devil, really! Charles Grodin
co-stars in this very off beat and quirky comedy that is filled to the
brim with mischief and misdeeds o plenty. Clifford is the rotten kid
that never grows up, because he doesn't have to. The humor is strange
and the jokes are mean spirited but in the end will you cheer for
Clifford or his dad to succeed? Corporal punishment never sounded so
sweet. This is one of Martin Short's funniest and odd roles. Short
shines here as Clifford, probably his best performance in a comedic
role. Clifford is a comedy that leaves you scratching your head and
feeling a little devilish at the same time.
Grodin and Short
have terrific comic timing and chemistry. For fans of Martin Short,
Charles Grodin and offbeat comedies, this is a must own. A very odd and
somewhat kooky 90s comedy farce. Clifford DVD is great fun and Martin Short fans will rejoice. Short and Grodin play off each quite well in Clifford 1994 DVD, as a quirky age play comedy. Clifford DVD is a comedy with some serious sarcasm and bite.
