DVD Synopsis and information:
Maud Sage (played by Cheryl Ladd) has had a burning desire that is also a secret wish to return to her once childhood home of Bluegrass. Maud's ultimate dream has always been to breed world class thoroughbred horses, but her lofty ambitions are not easily realized. The wealthy and quite snobbish class of Bluegrass and Maud's less than scrupulous neighbor Lowell Shipleigh (played by Wayne Rogers) will stop at nothing to discredit and ruin Maud's hopes of achieving success in the thoroughbred horse racing business.

Maud is pit against the extremely vicious society that she wants so desperately longs to join and only the useful farm manager Dancy Cutler (played by Brian Kerwin) stands beside her. Maud initially misconceives Dancy's affections at first, though she warms up to him as time progresses. Maud's revenge is ultimately bitter sweet when she falls for the seductive lavishness of the mysterious Michael Fitzgerald (played by Anthony Andrews).

Bluegrass 1988 DVD is an excellent TV mini series and one of the best TV adaptations from the 80s. Bluegrass DVD Cheryl Ladd is an excellent 80s TV mini series with terrific drama and story telling. Bluegrass Movie is a very well done production from the 80s. Bluegrass DVD Cheryl Ladd is a fantastic drama and is great for repeated viewings. This is an excellent mini series from the late 80s featuring an all star cast. Bluegrass DVD remains a fascinating and powerful TV miniseries drama from the late 80s.

Ladd and Rooney give magnificent performances in this late 80s TV Bluegrass miniseries DVD. Bluegrass Movie 1988 DVD holds up very well for a 30 year old made for TV mini series. Bluegrass DVD is a wonderful drama and a fantastic mini-series event from the late 80s.
