Price, the horror icon, is diabolical, commanding and "as brutally

torture and titillation are just a few methods of interrogation in this

against more evil in a duel to the death! Cry Of The Banshee DVD is great old school horror.
Murders In the Rue Morgue 1971
It
is the turn of the century in Paris and actors aren't just playing
dead, they are staying deceased. Academy Award winner Jason Robards and
Herbert Lom star in this mind-bending, macabre murder-mystery in which a
passionate lunatic out for bloody revenge brings the grisly horror of
Edgar Allan Poe's most frightening tale to gory, gruesome and really
real life. Murders In the Rue Morgue DVD remains an early 70s horror classic.
Summary
Both of these films, from the early 70s, are a terrific throwback to old school horror from the mid 20th century.
