Death Weekend DVD aka House By The Lake 1976DVD Synopsis and information: Death Weekend (aka House By The Lake) is a fun little horror / thriller about a quite wealthy playboy who owns a large house on the gorgeous countryside. One weekend he invites a beautiful fashion model Diane (played by Brenda Vaccaro). On his way to the house, he drives past a gang of crazy young men that appear to be hoodlums. These men find out where the house is and begin to terrorize the couple over Thanksgiving weekend. Most fans of this movie film will recall renting it at their local video store and the brutal story of a wealthy playboy that persuades a beautiful model to his secluded Tudor mansion; only to be followed and terrorized by a quartet of highly sadistic thugs. The movie is certainly disturbing and very potent, even by today's standards. This is the complete and uncut version with blood spurting scene where Runt gets his throat slashed removed from crummy Vestron version. Fans will enjoy this version!
Death Weekend DVD 1976 is a terrifying chiller in the same vein as The Last House On The Left or Straw Dogs. AKA House By The Lake DVD 1976 is a wonderful low budget thriller that still holds up well today! Death Weekend DVD is a wonderful low budget thriller from the 70s.
