Halloween 1978 Extended Edition DVD
DVD Synopsis and information:
In this special TV edition of the great horror classic Halloween 12 more minutes were shot and edited in specifically for TV audiences. NBC wanted to air Halloween, as they knew how popular the film was among teens. They also knew that the violence, sex and drug references were too much for the TV audience and NBC had to either edit the movie down considerably or offer John Carpenter more money to re-shoot more footage to edit back into the film to make it more cohesive for television. The additional scenes are really fun and cool to look at. It's nice to have an alternate cut for serious fans of this terrific horror film.
Carpenter throws in some really cool scenes for the Made for TV cut. What resulted was a nice mix of additional scenes that are not a part of the theatrical release that give the audience more insight as to the back story and how that Shape came to be. This is an interesting cut and re-editing of the original horror classic. Halloween Extended TV Edition DVD is an excellent version of this film and sheds some new light on the original story.
Halloween Extended Edition
offers some excellent additional footage to the already classic and iconic horror film.
Halloween Extended TV Edition DVD is a great way to enjoy this classic horror film with some cool new scenes that were shot exclusively for TV.
Halloween Extended Edition DVD
is a terrific way to view the seminal Halloween 1978 movie classic with some terrific alternate scenes that were commissioned by NBC and shot by Carpenter and his crew for their TV audience.
