DVD Synopsis and information:
Kristy McNichol stars with Dennis Quaid in this heartfelt road comedy about a brother and sister team that are bound for Nashville to get their piece of fame and fortune. The two of them together make a good team, if they can stay out of trouble on the way. McNichol and Quaid have excellent on screen chemistry. With a fun mix of romance and one line zingers this is a great trip down 80s memory lane. Any serious 80s movie fan has to have this film in their collection. Quaid can be funny or dramatic depending on the scene. For a movie early in both Quaid's and McNichol's careers they both do a fine job with this material. A very cool early 80s film with Quaid and McNichol in their younger years.

Both Kristy McNichol and Dennis Quaid turn in fine performances for their respective young ages. The Night The Lights Went Out in Georgia DVD is good drama and entertainment. Quaid, Hamill and McNichol are all solid in The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia DVD.
