This is the story of an 11 year old boy that embarks on a profound adventure in an old and abandoned mansion with terribly frightening secrets and some friendly spirits who create wonderful and fascinating magic potions that just so happen to be made of, you guessed it, peanut butter. The
boy's name is Michael Baskin and his father, Billy Baskin, is an artist that is having a tough time and is the temporary and sole caregiver of his children while his spouse attends to the needs of her recently passed father down under in Australia.
Upon hearing news this news that Michael has previously been unaware of, his fearful run in with the ghosts in the old mansion has given him a curious illness that is simply known as The Fright. Michael wakes up the next day to find out that this Fright has made him lose all of his hair and for a young man this is certainly quite devastating. This is where the Peanut butter as the secret ingredient of this magical recipe for amazing and powerful potions that are made by two of the friendly ghosts. These same ghosts also give Michael some special directions not to add too much peanut butter to the potion, as the result may be catastrophic.
